Artistic Director

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Andrew has been a professional actor, vocalist, and musician going on two decades, performing around the globe. During his career in Los Angeles and New York, he performed Off-Broadway, with National and International Tours, throughout Europe and regionally across the US, completing 70+ distinct shows along the way. Following the birth of his beautiful daughter, Andrew now teaches acting and directs productions at Clayton High School. However, he was recently seen in Theatre Raleigh's production of Great Comet.

Notable credits include Off-Broadway: The Office: A Musical Parody (Jim Halpert/Andy Bernard); Tours: The Simon and Garfunkel Story (Art Garfunkle), Rudolph (Santa), Jersey Boys; Regional: West Side Story (BroadwayWorld Best Actor), Little Women (ITL Founders Award Recipient), Great Comet (Anatole), Forever Plaid (Sparky), The Story of My Life (Alvin Kelby), RENT (Mark Cohen), Ghost (Carl), Smoke on the Mountain (Dennis Sanders), and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear), as well as a plethora of theme park and cruise ship productions.

Ann Meigs

Music Director

Currently the Choral Director and Performing Arts Club Advisor at Clayton High School, Ann has served as music director at CHS for the past decade working on shows such as Chicago (Triangle Rising Stars Finalist-Best Ensemble), Into the Woods, Guys and Dolls (TRS Finalist-Best Actor and Musical), The Drowsy Chaperone (TRS Finalist-Best Actor and Actress and Best Ensemble), Catch Me If You Can (TRS winner-Best Actor),  Once on This Island, Seussical (TRS Finalist-Best Ensemble 2015) The Pajama Game, Honk! (TRSFinalist-Best Musical 2013). She also previously directed several stage productions, including Fools, The Curious Savage, and Pygmalion. In addition to her work at CHS, Ann has served as assistant director and music director for Carolina Youth Theater for over a decade, producing a multitude of quality productions alongside Nikki Dyke.

Ann and her husband, Bob, moved to Clayton in 2003 from Syracuse, NY. While in Syracuse, Ann performed and worked with the Syracuse Civic and Children's Theatre, where she music directed for Little Mermaid, Annie, and Aladdin, and co-directed Alice In Wonderland for the Children's Theatre. Favorite roles include The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Sister Berta in The Sound of Music, and her most exciting part to date was playing the role of Peter in Peter Pan.
