This spring, we are proud to partner with JoCo250, Neuse Little Theatre, Benson Little Theatre, and Johnston Community College to present a community theatre production of 1776 as part of the America 250 celebration.

This is full community musical, open to performers from across the area.

1776 Auditions - Open to 18+

Callbacks: March 28, 2026 (By Invitation Only)
Location: 600 S. Fayetteville St., Clayton, NC 27520
Project Dates: April 8, 2026 - June 28, 2026
Rehearsals: A few nights a week (evenings/weekends) until tech week.
Shows (3): June 26, 2026 - June 28, 2026

Please prepare a short musical theatre song. An accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music neatly marked in the correct key, even if your selection is from the show. No acapella singing. Bring your headshot and resume stapled together if you have one. 

We are open to non-traditional casting options. We want to bring our community into focus through this production and highlight the talent in our area. If you’ve performed before, or if you’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to jump in, this is your chance to be part of a collaborative, county-wide production!
