Acting for the Stage is an engaging 8-week acting class designed for middle school students who are ready to grow as performers and collaborators. In this once-a-week course, students dive into the fundamentals of truthful acting through dynamic scene work—building skills in voice, movement, character development, and emotional expression. Each session combines fun ensemble activities, practical rehearsal techniques, and personalized coaching to help students gain confidence, connect with text, and shine on stage. The unit culminates in a final ensemble showing for family and friends, celebrating growth, creativity, and each young actor’s unique voice.
